Sewing may seem old fashioned, but we believe it's a practical and versatile life skill that people of all ages can use. Even knowing how to do something as small and simple as sewing on a button the right way or hemming a pair of pants is empowering. And constructing a garment takes just as much planning savvy, critical thinking, spacial awareness,  and manual dexterity as it does to build a shelf out of wood.
